Who Am I?
Welcome, I’m Victoria, registered yoga teacher, cat mom, writer, and wannabe comedian.
I received my 200 hour yoga certification through Kripalu School under the . Additionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Suffolk University. Prior to stepping on to the path of teaching yoga full-time, I worked in mental health care with children, adolescents, and their families. I bring this experience and scientific background with me to my classes and private sessions.
I like to think that yoga found me, rather than me finding it. Since childhood I have always been constantly on the move. Whether I was dancing to my own beat, splashing in the ocean, or rolling around in the mud, I never quite got my fill of movement. What was seen as “disruptive” behavior at my Catholic elementary school really just turned out to be undiagnosed ADHD.
My practice deepened during the pandemic. What started out as a way to move my body became a journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and compassion. When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2022, my practice became essential for my wellbeing. Overjoyed by how much yoga has helped me, I am always eager to share these gifts with others.
My life mantra is “it’s all balance” and is something I try to embody in my personal life as well as in my work as a wellness practitioner. Humans are constantly bombarded with black and white, all or nothing thinking. This traps us, leading to burn out, isolation, addiction, and more. Life exists in the in between. In letting yourself be a complex multifaceted human. How beautiful that you were made to experience all that life has to offer and you get to CHOOSE too.
